AREF (acronym of Angelo Ratti E Francesca) is a historic company originally established in Lecco, heart of an industrial district with a 100-year-old tradition of processing steel and its derivatives, in particular link chains.

Per Garantire la massima qualità del prodotto, vengono effettuati ulteriori controlli qualità:
Il controllo del carico di lavoro viene effettuato per le catene “commerciali” cioè non adibite al sollevamento, per dare un valore indicativo sul carico di lavoro di quest’ultima, oltre che alla finitura e alle dimensioni della maglia.
Tale controllo viene effettuato tramite uno strumento specifico, chiamato dinamometro, mediante il quale si può verificare che il carico di lavoro sia congruente con quello dichiarato, sena alcuna deformazione elastica delle singole maglie.
Inoltre, viene verificato il carico massimo che la catena può sopportare prima della deformazione elastica e della rottura, così da avere ulteriori parametri sul processo produttivo.
